‘The Secret History of Twin Peaks’ is a canon novel from Mark Frost, the co-creator of the TV series ‘Twin Peaks’. The novel was released 25 years after the end of the initial TV run, and one year before ‘Twin Peaks: The Return’.
‘The Secret History of Twin Peaks’ enlarges the world of the original series, placing the unexplained phenomena that unfolded there into a vastly layered, wide-ranging history, beginning with the journals of Lewis and Clark and ending with the shocking events that closed the finale.
A small town in Washington State by the name of Twin Peaks was once the scene of a number of homicides that remain unsolved This top-secret FBI dossier contains all the relevant files on the events surrounding the murder of Laura Palmer, including Agent Dale Cooper’s reports, transcripts of witness statements, legal documents, press cuttings, and archival material on the assassination of JF Kennedy.
